I was just wondering if the Alumni E-board or the active chapter has done any planning or put any thought into a 20 year re-union bash . It is approaching real fast and if something is going to happen we better start figuring out the details.

For any interested alumni, Sandblast is coming up quick. It is scheduled for Sunday, August 24th from 2:00pm - 5:00pm, with a rain date scheduled for Monday the 25th at 5:00pm.
Sorry for the short notice on the specific date. Hope to see some of you there (especially if you live in Erie, and your name rhymes with Gaylor, Gay, Gillz, or Gay-Mac).

Hey everyone,
We've been doing an ongoing fund raiser for about a year now. We fill out online surveys through campusfundraiser.com and they pay us money for filling them out. It's not much, anywhere from 10 cents to a dollar per survey, but it adds up. We've made about $500 so far. Anyways if you want to help raise money, go to this address http://www.campusfundraiser.com
and sign up. After you're done you'll have to go to your email and activate the account. The surveys only take a couple minutes, and it gives you something to do at work.
Thanks for the help,
Brian Auth

The active chapter was recognized again for having the highest GPA among greek organizations on campus for the past school year.
We got a sweet certificate for it. I'd rather be awarded with beer and naked women.

Just a quick update for Alumni Weekend, 2007. Friday night will be the "controlled chaos" that is our college life. For those of you who have not been to Erie in a while, please contact me (phone:724-766-4275, email: jmk5139@psu.edu) and I can give you directions to one of our houses. We have organized our own 9 hole scramble outting for Saturday. Tee times are for 20 people between 9:00 am and 9:30 at Gospel Hills (we'll be drinking our breakfast). Following the outting we have no formal reservations, but would like to have lunch and a brief active/alumni eboard meeting. Andy Clark has already sent an email out with the above information. Contact Clark if you have any questions (724-316-9559) as he has organized this event. We encourage any interested alumni to attend. Thanks guys,
John Kraynik

As our beloved fraternity will be undergoing a lot of restructuring in the very near future to accomodate the lack of big ugly house, a new executive board has been elected to assure that we survive fruitfully through the change. A comment was made about a lack of alumni knowledge of the actives, well here's information #1.
Our new Executive Board:
President - Ray Immekus
Exec. VP - Andy Meier
VP Prog. - Mike Chaplick
VP Memb. - Andy Onda
VP Fin. - The Imfamous Kevin Mackowski
I have no doubts that this board will lead us through this mess, and continue our legacies indefinately.
PS. I have a boner and Madl has an ugly dick

Jason Howell, one of our lovely brothers, is currently serving in the Marine Corps(special forces i think) as a sniper. He left for Iraq a month ago, and I had not heard from him since until today. I have decided just to attach this convo, so everyone realizes that he\'s crazy, but still alive.....

Well, this site sucks right now. But if ANYONE decides to browse it, we are in the process of revitalizing the Phat Pad into a double apartment. This summer project should be done within the next month, and I will be updating the pictures in a few days. But check it out. . .

Ok, so Lindner told me to write this and I forgot. F uck me. Anyways, this coming Saturday, March 20th is Parent's Weekend. Starts at 4:30 at the house, and at about 6:00 we'll be heading over to Quaker State for some wingers. Then to the house for some fun. Beach is tentatively scheduled for the 26th of this month, but is subject to change due to circumstances. Uhh, I'll have the pledge info up in a day or two, and anyone who had a fun spring break in warm weather can indulge in a "My Taint" brunch.
Oh ya, we fixed the hole.

I've added quite a few pics into the brother's gallery under the magical untitled folder, so check em out to see the fun we've been up to. I've also copied my memo about formal to dig it out of the reply forest under my original post. Regionals is this weekend, we'll see how we do, since we're actually participating again.
FORMAL The new Ramada(used to be Holiday Inn) at the corner of State and 18th. Still on April 17th. We need to know who wants to come ASAP(as in by the beginning of March), so please email Callihan at dec168 AT psu.edu, or me at kaylor69 AT msn.com. We're hoping for a good turnout this year, so please take a break from hellish work and come back to see where we've gone and have a good time. Please spread the word to other brothers you have the contact info for. Thanks

Well I did visit the house this past weakend and where should i begin...
just kidding.. I had a great time and everything went fine.. My only comments about the party situation up there are this:
I was impressed that the actives were adult enough to learn quickly from the previous weeks situation and they had a good old fashioned list party.. a decent sized list as to keep things fun, but a smaller party than most weeks none the less.. I was glad to see that they themselves knew they needed to take a step back even if for only a week to make sure things are ok.
I hope the alumni are able to make the Oct 11th Alumni weekend coming up so they can see some of the new enhancements to the house.. the brotherhood room looks nice, the new party room lights, 2 new party room bathrooms, the kitchen, all are in at great shape for the house.. Sure the downstairs 'chapter / phat pad' room is a mess and not being used, but thats life and its out of the way now anyway..
Their are some pictures in the Brothers photo gallery under upload or house pics if you want to see some of the changes.
Thanks everyone for a good time as always..

I'd just like to thank a few guys for all the work they've been doing so far this summer. Shrock, Bozo, Snake and Hendo, and anyone else who has helped out with all the work they're doing. Fixed up the Brotherhood room, some floors, some walls, redid the double, new bar in the party room, working on a new bathroom, etc etc etc.
Thanks for all your hard work.

Alright boys. Here's some items for thought that might draw a few of you up to good old Erie. This Thursday and Friday, Paper St. will be playing at Sherlock's and Bruno's, respectively.
NEXT WEEKEND:
FRIDAY: All day event in the Reed Gardens or whatever the %$#@! that yard is called in front of it. It's a battle of the bands, and it's free. Paper St. will be competing, along with nationally known Starting Line. There will other activities and such going on, about 6 of us will be working security, and we will have a table set up. It lasts from 2-11. So come and give some support, the drunker the better.
SATURDAY: Graduation party. Enough said. . .
Hope to see as many of you come to these as possible.

I'd just like to thank all the brothers who hung out and had a good time last thursday and friday even though the friday party started kind of lame. It all picked up in the end.
Wanted to thank all the beer diving guys who had a little fun clearing the behruit table late night thursday.. hope everyone has healed by now. Whoever would have thought my stupid idea could be that much fun.. And why do we have a snow slet in the house.. dangerous! He He I'd like to point out that no animals were harmed during the weekend festivities and that no damage came to anything.

Well this is the ol' Rod and I'm behind in my plethora of articles I tend to post. I guess I had other shit to do. Well the last weekend of September We went down to the Clarion river down near Cook's forest. This was in in thanks to Luke and his borther setting it all up and getting us discounts on all the equipment. The only thing Luke fialed to mentioned was the fact that we would be paddling for 6 hours 14 miles down the river, and the fact the 3 of those miles needed to be walked due to the low water. I believe we had something like 12 canoes and luke in a kayak, it was pristine floating down the river, although the "muscle kings" camby and smolen wanted to make it a huge race...well good for them haveing that canoe that took on 3inches or water every 30 minutes. I'll let other poeple add their own account of the night and the paddling down the river. But we finally made itto the island and set up camp, of the 26 peolep there i htink about 3 of us includeing myself actually had dry clother and sleeping bags. We started a fire whcich beutikofer becided to light like a little eagle scount, but snake ended up lighting it 10 times faster. ***** boy scouts...go get raped! Then the beers were broken out if they hadnt been already on the river. It' only got worse as booze were also brought out with the food and we had our fill and we all went to setting up the tents etc. and some of us being faster than othere decided to find the largest pieces of wood we could find...well by the end of the night our fire ring was over 8 ffeet in diameter and flames well over 20 feet in the air. It was like lord of the flies..minus the war paint. I disappeared for about 10 mins and when I was found I was carving the letters in a tree and slicing the shit out of my fingers with the saw on my knife. People were passing out left and right and there were about 7 of us that stayed up till about 3 then hit the sack since we had to be up at 8 to meet lukes brother. To sum it all up i dont think there was aperson that didnt have a good time, well maybe kaylor who (while drunk i might remind you) was swimming in the river late night and his ziplock bag floated out of his pocket with his phone, keys, etc in it. Lucky Chris bird spotted it on the far shore the next morning! I'll let people add shit as the feel appropriate! Peace!
Rod
Note: Thanks Rod. Glad to hear brothers are still doing stuff like this.

As I'm sure some of the alumni and all of the actives are aware, a large hole has formed in the floor of the brotherhood room directly in front of the double bathroom. This has vexed the active chapter for some time now. The hole was created out of necessity during an in-house bottle rocket fight, to give the upstairs force a necessary tactical advantage (the upstairs totally KICKED ASS, BTW).
There has been much debate as to what to do about the 4 foor hole in the floor. Some wanted to patch it, some wanted a fireman's pole installed, and some wanted clear plexiglas installed so we could look up girls skirts as they left the bathroom. Finally however, a solution has been decided...
TWO WORDS....
ROPE SWING!
Brother Matt Henderson had this to say about the prospect of the rope swing. "(The swing would) Keep people out of the back hallway during parties. This means if your ***** (Including mine especially) wants a clean bathroom you can tell her drunk ass to play Indiana Jones and try to enter our temple of doom." Others had similiar attitudes about the floor, "Maybe i'll actually fix it this weekend...or maybe i'll get drunk who knows," said Jarrod Stanton, the current house manager.
A few pussies have expressed concern about the safety of the rope swing. They were promptly told to shut the ***** up. "The whole house is a safety violation", commented Tim Haring, a summer resident of the house. Aaron Rospeirski, alumni association liason to the active brotherhood, cantacted me and had this to say on the matter: "Consider this official notice. The floor in the brotherhood bathroom MUST be... a gaping hole... approximately 3 foot in diameter now... ANY QUESTIONS?" Yes, that is a direct quote from Aaron.
We would like to thank the alumni once again for their support on this matter.
Fraternally,
Ryan Alexander

The year is finally over. Congratulations to all those graduating this year, there are many, but thankfully we have 16 new brothers this year to step up, Alpha Beta and Alpha Gamma. This year says goodbye to many of Sig Tau's greats. Bryan Garrison has indeed, contrary to popular belief, graduated. The Big Fat Liar, Kolbe Baker, made up a good enough excuse to get his degree, and is moving on, but of course on his heels is Mandy, who is only graduating so someone will believe his lies. Hootie is big and black, and if he hadn't graduated, he probably would have hurt someone. Good old JMac and Timmy are rollin out at the end of the summer. Kramer is supposed to graduate, but who knows. Regardless, we are sad to see them all leave, yet eager to move Sigma Tau Gamma on and continue the tradition of being the best fraternity on campus. Congrats and Best wishes to all that are leaving, and everyone have a great summer. August isn't that far away . . . .
Note: For those of you who dont know, Josh Kaylor (kaylor69) is one of the new Alpha Gamma brothers.

I think the house and all those of use that lived with him shed a tear on Tues, April 30th, approx. 4:30 PM, Bryan Garriosn moved out of the house forever it was a sad time moving his furniture out. A whole fuckin lot of furniture. We didnt even let him leave before we ransacked his room for booze, food and porn. Alot thought that it would never, ever.....ever happen but yes he did graduate or at least thats what he says. I would love to congratulate all those graduating this semester or over the summer, Hootie, Mandy, Kolby, Garrison, J-Mac, Tim, Kramer (maybe), and if i forgot anyone I'm sorry but you will all be missed dearly, except for Tim. Thank God! I have had the best times of my life with these people and made some fantastic memories, and can only hope to make more with those that are left and make more with those that will be back. God Bless Sig Taus!

It was nice to see everyone who came up for the Mardis Gras party last weekend and got to see n all the madness that has been the norm this year. To let you guys who haven't been able to come up know, our parties have been the biggest on campus hands down all year. The other fraternities have been asking us if they are really as crazy as the stories they have heard and have wanted to throw combines to mooch off our greatness. The icing on the cake came this week when Matt Eckl, former president and one of the most hated TKES, asked Tim Meyers how the party was Friday. Upon hearing it was ***** crazy from Tim, he added that's what i figured cause we threw a nuts and bolts party and no one really showed up. So, we basically ran our main competition right into the ground and will continue to do it the rest of the year. Everyone who can should try to make it up so you can witness the joy that is Sig Tau parties this year.

Hello brothers, again this is Jarrod (ROD), and I just wanted to let you alumni know whats going on at the house this and last semester. Well this weekend (Jan26 - 27) we did some house projects, with the help of you alumni. You may not even have know about your monetary contributions. Arron Rospierski bought all new fixtures for the single bathroom, while myself ryan alezander and mett henderson tore out the old one and ryan and myself are in the middle remodeling the new one..the same tub and shower are ther just new subfloor, linoleum, sink, toilet, and paint. The brotherhood room and the hallways all received new coats of paint with the additon of some lights (fluorescent, and track) in the brotherhood room. We'll be putting new carpet in the hallways and the trophy case should be finished with new plywood and trim. All the carpets will be steam cleaned. Read more...

Dear Alumni,
I'm pleased to announce that we, the active chapter, have reinstated the "Books for Kids" program. As long back as I know it hasnt been done. We have talked to a dozen churches and they have allowed us to place boxes and signs in their places of worship and offices. We are hoping to continue this to the elementary schools in the area too. Every two weeks we will check our boxes like lobster traps, to grab our catch. Our goal is at least 1,000 books, possibly more. We want the "Books for Kids" title as gathering the most books nationally. Slippery Rock has had the pleasure of having this title the last few years, with around 1,100. Let us know if you have any input!
Jarrod
