Engagements / Weddings

In light of the horrible weekend we've endured, some good things do happen. I'd like to extend a huge congratulations to Megan Bridgen (Meadowbrook '03 maybe?) and Dave McQuiston. They got engaged this weekend.

Dave has become great friends with many of us since they first started seeing each other, and it will be great to see them get married (and the weddings sure to be a banger).

Plus he's the hugest guy on the planet, which is sweet.

that's all, drop them a line and say congrats.

: The passing of a brother....

Chapter Eternal and loved ones

I regret to inform everyone that this morning on Thursday, August 10th at approximately 3:40 AM we have lost a beloved brother we all knew and loved. George Garrison was the passenger in a Jetta south of Kane, PA west of Edinboro, when it left the road and struck two trees and burst into flames. The front passenger was pulled from the wreckage by two passing motorists, but they were not able to save George or the driver. I know not all of the Behrend Sig Taus knew George, but he was from Baltimore and started schooling at Behrend and then transferred to Edinboro, where he instantly made friends with all our brothers there. This tragic event not only affects our chapter but also edinboro\'s. George was the tpye of guy that would walk into the house and instantly bring a smile to the room with a joke or somethign else amusing and somehow a party always seem to start. I have very little information at this time concerning all the events or any funeral arrangements. Please feel free to leave messages on here with any updates anyone might receive from Edinboro brothers or anyone with information. I know George will be sadly missed!
Rest in Peace George...

Where are they now : Anyone seen Kleivin?

Hi all!

I am looking for Chris Kleivin. When I called the last number I had for him, a kind but non – bilingual Portuguese man answered and was of little help. It might not help that I lost my other phone again. I lost my cell phone again! I didn\'t mean to, and I tried to look for it, but I think it\'s in pieces on the road where it may have fallen out when I was changing a tire, or even worse, misplaced in my apartment with the batteries out and lost forever, like some library book that some stupid kid put back in the wrong place. There, but not really there. Or it I could have left it at Goodwill, where I was looking for some short sleeve shirts for the summer. I went to the mall, got my ears pounded by the crap they put on at Abercrombie and Fitch, and decided I didn\'t want to pay sixty bucks for a wrinkled shirt I could get at Goodwill for two-fifty. So I was proud of myself finding some good stuff very cheap, until . . . I lost my phone. Maybe some guy named Daryl is using my minutes right now, gloating over finding some asshole\'s cell and how when he gets that 50 cent an hour raise at Wal-Mart he\'s gonna buy that Dale Earnhardt Commemorative Plate.
Anyway, I need to contact Kleivin. null

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that I will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame on September 23, 2006 at the Reed Commons on the Behrend Campus. I would love to have past friends attend if possible. It would also be great to see some of those faces again. The fraternity supported me so much while I was playing and I appreciated it so much. The feeling I had when finding out I was getting inducted was the same feeling I had when I was crowned White Rose. What a feeling that was. I hope many of you can attend.

Engagements / Weddings

Bachelor party for Brett. Erie. Thursday, August 3rd. The more guys show up, the more fun we\'ll have. It\'s a bar crawl / checklist for him to complete on his last days as a non-married man. It WILL BE a good time. If you know this legendary character, show up and enjoy the shenanigans. Spread the word to other guys who I may have forgotten. Drinking is encouraged, though not necessary (that one\'s for you Camby.) More details to come, but for now mark it on your calendars and request off work!!!

Job News

Hi All,

Wednesday April 19th, Plus Consulting will be holding interviews for full-time postions on campus. We are looking graduating seniors with Computer Science or MIS degrees to fill some of our staffing needs. We may possibly be offering an internship too. The skills we are looking for are .Net developement, system administration and report development. Eran and I will not be there, Tania McGee and Dave Pape will be the ones conducting the interviews. If you are interested you can either send me your resume at bryan.garrison@plusconsulting.com or talk to someone in the career development center. If you do get hired there will be good chance that you would be working with Eran and I on our current project. If you have any questions you can contact me via e-mail.

Cheers,

Garrison

Formal

As many of you probably already know, formal is April 22nd. tonights meetings consisted largely of a discussion about finances. Some motions were passed, and they involve not only actives, but alumni as well:

All actives who any money must pay a minimum of a hundred dollars for the right to go to formal.

All alumni who owe money, must pay 25% of their debt by formal if they wish to go.

If you have any questions please email me at kmm401@psu.edu, ray at rpi104@psu.edu or onda at amo917@psu.edu

Hope to see everyone at formal

Note: oops... mised this.. this was posted a while ago.

If anyone is coming to Miami for the Orange Bowl, let\'s try and get together for a pre-game party. Send me an e-mail. I have a parking pass just outside the stadium.
