Thanks to Joel’s diligence I have found you. I am lost no more. Having emerged from the wilderness, only to hop a plane and head back in. Wanted to reach and share some news. On March 17th I will be leaving Capital One after 9 great years. Sherry, Tori and I will be moving to Cape Town, South Africa for at least three years. I have taken a position running a South African company called Dialogue Group. I have signed a 3 year contract with them, and we are very excited about the large change in our lives.

Please let me know how you are doing and what you are up to. It will be great to hear from you all.

We would like to congratulate Mike Orr, of Delta Upsilon and his teammate Jeremy Hughes for winning the World Series of Beer Pong (WSOBP) III tournament this past weekend in Las Vegas!

As some people know an Alumni of ours, Chris Wallack, is going to move to Pittsburgh at the end of this year. For one last shebang, he is going to attempt to do a shot from every bottle behind the bar at Jimmy Z's, or 73 shots. It's going to go on from 11 AM until they kick him out on this Friday, January 14th.

If anyone is interested in buying him a shot, I am going to keep track of who gets what, so we don't have any confusion. Email me if you want to pick your booze, first come first serve.

Just a quick update for Alumni Weekend, 2007. Friday night will be the "controlled chaos" that is our college life. For those of you who have not been to Erie in a while, please contact me (phone:724-766-4275, email: jmk5139@psu.edu) and I can give you directions to one of our houses. We have organized our own 9 hole scramble outting for Saturday. Tee times are for 20 people between 9:00 am and 9:30 at Gospel Hills (we'll be drinking our breakfast). Following the outting we have no formal reservations, but would like to have lunch and a brief active/alumni eboard meeting. Andy Clark has already sent an email out with the above information. Unfortunately, it seems that we have more memorials posted on here then anything else.

This past Monday the 30th of July, Matt Henderson's grandfather passed away.

Many of you would have never met this man but he, for the past five years (for some of us) opened his arms to allow us to come and camp at his property and camp along Suger Creek, around Cooperstown, PA.

We always tried to put on a good fireworks for this man and his family every fourth of July and it actually became an event for the local neighbors who would await our shows. In fact this year when Mr. Henderson was admitted to the hospital right before this years retreat he argued and pleaded with the hospital staff to let him out only long enough to go home and enjoy the fireworks. Unfortunately he was not able to attend but he was there in spirit.

I would like to thank Matt Henderson and his family for the great times we have had at this camp and would like to extend our condolences to his family and friends.

Matt asked that no flowers be sent to his grandmother since she is allergic to them. Cards would be just fine.

I was perusing the Behrend website and found that it had an article on the "New and Happenings" page to one of our brothers who recently moved to NYC to persue a dream and possible career working for Marvel Comcis. It is even an unpaid intership, which shows his willingness and dedication to moving to a such a busy and expensive city to follow a dream. Just wanted to put some congrats out there to Jason Juniewicz!
