Well it came and went with a bang as always, Formal 2001 was no exception. Where do I start to explain the madness that occured, because I know I missed alot of it myself.
The new Man of the Year is Dave Madl, Dave Young (Hootie) is the Sportsman of the Year, Tim Meyers is the Strap (mainly for having the worst rapsheet in Sig Tau History). The White Rose was Amanda Lecker, and many tears were shed at the presentations of all the awards. Aaron Rospierski won the Most Distinguished Brother Award for his very active role in the active chapter's life. It is a new award and will only be given when the brothers feel it is deserved, and is named in Aaron's honor.
Now comes the latter part of the evening, such as when Packy was so drunk he fell and knocked over one of the dinner tables or when he was standing with his date and took a step and fell directly on her.
How about when Mike Blicha puked on Ryan Alexander in his own room while Ryan was pissing? Or, Luke puking on his date and all over the bed so she had to sleep on a table.
I was walking down the hall with my date and Matt Boarts was running awkwardly as usual and I threw my foot out and expected him to jump over it, but no he tripped right on it and did a face plant into the black door mat, killing his new pants which he "yelled" at me for about 10 seconds. Packy and Boarts shared a room and within 5 minutes of arrival to said room, Packy sat down on the chair and it collapsed, he then moved to the bed and sat down and it collapsed also.
Brett Kocijan flew up for the event and also ended up stealing and hooking up with Big Cup's date to the formal. Justin Ropele was trying to do the same thing, with anyones date and it wasn't happening...considering his date was his sister.
Well thats all the info I had found at up until the time I submitted this and I hope those who attended add other cms_stories!!
