April 1st was one of the greatest days in Sig Tau sports history. ever. The TKE team had been practicing since the last time we played and they got shut out 8-0, and the Sig Tau team met the day before and put an offense and defense together that proved too tuff for the TKE's to handle.
After a little sideline clearing altercation, that was taken care of quickly and people returned to the sidelines, the first half ended in a 0-0 tie. The first half saw us moving the ball well, but we just couldn't get it into the end zone. After a great halftime speech by Garrison to get everyone even more fired up, the second half saw us march three-quarters of the way down the field and use up over ten minutes on the clock. The first key play was on 4th and 15, Henderson completed a pass to E-roc who turned up field and got the first down making it first and goal. The second was on 2nd and goal and the TKE's lined up in the nutural zone. On a busted play, Henderson kept the ball and ran up the middle and went into the end zone untouched. After we failed to get the 2 point conversion there were only 2 minutes left and, as always, the defense held them. The TKE's haven't scored on us since Fall of 98. No major injuries were suffered on our side, but the TKE's did have a guy go down early when he tore his knee apart.
